Lady of the Moon

Born with the moonlight he ran
To find something sacred to hold
But all he found was the wind
Blowing through the fields of gold
Oceans they rise
And then they fall
Like love will come
Then leave us all
He chased the sacred just to find the sin
He looked outside for what was deep within
He felt forever but the time was now
He made a promise but forgot the vow
And that is how to lose
What heaven would allow
The ancient church lay in ruin
But the steps still took him higher
From the back of that cathedral
He swore he could hear the choir
Born with the moonlight he ran
To find something sacred to hold
But all he found was the wind
Blowing through those halls of gold
Oceans they rise
And then they fall
Like love will come
Then leave us all
He chased the sacred just to find the sin
He looked outside for what was deep within
He felt forever but the time was now
He made a promise but forgot the vow
And that is how to lose
What heaven would allow

The Poem for A Blade
03:25
|
|||
It is said that the fairest of maidens lives there in the wood
And that a man with the purest of hearts can find her if he could
So one day he put on his leathers
This man named after the sun
Surya rode out with his charioteer Aruna
To seek a place for seeds to be sown
Thus began the poem for a blade
Seven dark horses steamed in the predawn
When Aruna lifted the reins
With a snap of the leather the chariot of gold
Did break its earthbound chains
Thus Surya did rise
And lit up the skies
Calling out for the maiden of the wood
Thus began the poem for a blade
For many an hour they soared o'er the forest
As Surya did call from the skies
And the longer they flew the more did Surya
Begin to wish for her thighs
Tho only imagined
She must be a beauty
This goddess below in the wood
Thus began the poem for a blade
As the moon broke the horizon the chariot did falter
And Aruna fought with the steeds
Down from the heavens, the chariot overturned
Surya in golden livery doth concede
And falling he did find
A clarity of mind
And saw a maiden by the light of the moon
And there pointed skyward
Awaiting his fall
In her hand was the Sword of the Night
Thus does end the poem for a blade
Thus does end the poem for a blade
